I miss those days too... The game is exciting when you know an evil player can appear at any moment and kill you in two casts... Kill, loot, stealth, kill, loot, stealth

When someone reponds like that i would normally ignore them. Takes to much time. But if someone really puts effort in getting me annoyed i'll get him annoyed aswell. =] Examples can be read above.

If someone doesn't reply negative to me when i'm questing somewhere i will pretty much always invite them if it's a kill X quest. So he doesn't take "my mobs" and i don't take "his mobs" /care about the loot, that has never been an issue. But it's so annoying when you're with a few people all not grouped trying to get kills for something. And all killing mobs solo. When running past someone who's killing something i will throw a heal x 4 / shock x 4 if it finishes the mob and doesn't keep me in combat or something else annoying(combat = no mount). Spreading positive energy FTW!

I'm pretty sure that you can't get reported for this, since i reported a player a few weeks ago who did this to me, but the GM said there was nothing he could do. He actually told me to do the same back to him, or something similar. I was like: wtf? So that's why i'm sure that that was what the GM said.

I have from time to time reacted in the same way, I've also at times taken the extremely forgiving option and just ignored them and moved on. But if someone continues to tag / steal my mobs I'll either report them for harrasment (which usually results in nothing but a warning and not much else) or take the 'like begets like' option and in turn tag their mobs. Sometimes this can result in them pulling too many mobs and dying. Its at that point I've succeeded, /kiss /lol /bye

If they abuse / swear at me aftrer I engage in polite conversation then even better for the GM report.

Haha I was a UO player back in the day, on Baja of all servers, notorious for such PK'ers as Ronald McDonald and Cichlid.

Getting owned by those 2 repeatedly is how I developed my distaste for all things PvP.

I disagree. In an environment where there's no opportunity for player justice in any other form, I'd say that was a fair response to provocation and I wouldn't hesitate to do the same.

I agree with you. If he wanted to be an ass, he should be able to take some punishment. I'm a very nice person, but when you do something intentionally to hurt me in some way, you cant expect to just not have something done to you. On that note, I approve of this thread.

I usually run 4 shammy while questing and I have helped others that asked to join up until about a week ago. I had a guy join me for a quest and he looted the item (one drop per spawn) dropped group and sent me a tell saying, "sorry many but if you only had one less Shammy I wouldnt have had to do that". It was really no big deal, I had to wait 5 more minutes for the spawn and got the chain done long before he did.

I no longer invite people to my group or assist those that request help. And if someone ever did that to me I would definately go into "grind" mode and kill a few ogre for some exp. That is my story and I am sticking to it!
