Yet another reason to stop leveling those RAF teams and start questing/farming with your team of 70's. I know I am in a position that it doesn't really matter what the prices or the herbs are. Doing dailies for a couple days should get you enough gold together for all the herbs you need.
I've put aside 50K just to level professions as fast as possible once WotLK hits. But spread that over 5 characters and it does not go very far. I know Blizzard have introduced some large money sinks into the game, it hope it does not carry accross into professions or general game play.
