Quad Mage Talent Builds

I have been having trouble finding some good leveling specs for 4x mages on the site here. Anyone have any recomendations?

With four mages you're going to have kill stuff quick anyway. So you should spec what you like. Personally I love the survivability I get with frost. My current spec is close to this:

Fire and spec for damage only. You don't need stuns or things like that.

Frost for solo mages if far better, but with 4 you 2shot anything so there's no point in being able to kite things. And if you want AoE Blast wave is awesome of course.

HEH, ya that would look cool. I believe arcane is a mana effecient tree, so I doubt it would be bad.

Great for avoiding nether protection with locks. That and it turns your characters to follow the target

I recommend fire, and *not* imp fireball.

4xscorch is more efficient, kills most things in 2 casts, and with 5/5 impact, you'll get at least one stun per mob, which means you take no dmg.

If you are on a pvp server, it's even more skewed imo.
