Worth Gearing

I read a thread that gave the impression no one is gearing their teams since the expansion is coming out in 3 months or so.

I know the expanision will add a lot to the game, so it it worth just keeping what I have now in gear (you can see the armory links in sig) or should I still try to get some better gear?

How can a multi-boxer take advantage of teh RAF? I do not want to have to pay for 10 accounts

I am going to gear my team. I have kind of put them on the shelf to take advantage of RAF. I have the same setup as you (1 pally 4 shaman) but I am going to level another shaman (on my tanks account) a priest (if dedicated healing is needed) and 3 mages (pew pew) to 60. Once RAF runs out I will have 5-10 toons to take advantage of the 60-70 xp nerf and one team to level to 80.

Long and short, if you enjoy playing your crew go ahead and gear up. It will make the start of WotLK a bit easier.

I really enjoy 5-manning instances (haven't tried heroics yet), so I'm sorta gearing that way.
But I'm definitely not pushing myself to get the best gear before WotLK comes out.

Plus I also enjoy leveling alts, and an ALT team sounds perfect to me.
Now I just have to decide what classes to take... maybe 4 BM hunters and a priest. It'd be like a traveling circus.

if you have 5 accounts already, can you take avantage of the RAF without having to create new accounts and buy new keys? I would be keen to level an alternate group this way as well

isn't the long answer still no? blizzard won't do it retroactively at this time

however, it seems reasonable that the increased xp rate will become universal at some point in wotlk
(probably at half-life, whether that's six months or one year is up to fate)
