Default RAF - Summon friend - time limit?

Anyone know if the 90-day limit also applies to the Refer-a-friend "summon friend" ability? Or is that a permanent benefit?

If so that could be nice enough of a feature to replace a normal account I have with a new account right there. (It works both ways, right? On any toon on either account?)

The summon friend feature ends in 90-days the same as the 3x XP does. As long as the two chars are partied together then either can recall the other. There is a 60 minute cooldown (I think that's how long it is, I don't use it that often). It does make it nice for training however, one recalls to the city then summon them back followed by the second char recalling to the city and being summoned back.

I have my accounts linked in an odd way. 1->2->3 with 4 and 5 linked to 1. If 1 summons 2 then I have to wait for the cooldown to summon 4 then wait for the cooldown again to summon 5. However, 2 can summon 3 immediately. Luckily I have a lock on my team so I can summon the others back and if I plan it right I only use one stone to do it with.
