    Default Steering problems.

    Hi, im kinda new at multi-boxing. is there anyway i can get all of my characters to steer with the mouse? its pretty hard to steer if one is strafing and to other runs to no where :huh: thx /antoent

    steer your main with the mouse. have all the others on /follow (targeting your main)

    so its impossible to do that? to get the mouse like a keycloner but mousecloner

    technically you could steer them all with your one mouse, but because all of your viewpoints on each character are slightly different, after a while they would be so far out of sync it would be a nightmare. not to mention client lag that causes your view of where you are to be different on each instance, in relation to other players in your group.

    everyone on these forums use the /follow method. you will only find people using mouse sync for casting AOE spells simultaneously.

    I think it's been mentioned before that it can be done with a hardware solution, but even then it's still not perfect.

    The Vetra USB multicaster supposedly does the trick, but you're right - it's full of flaws.

    If you're trying to use the standard movement keys on ALL of your characters they will go out of sync due to lag. Take a look at the example in that video.

    You'll want to use movement/strafing keys on your "main" and /follow on your "alts".

    There are a couple of people who claim to be able to use a mouse most of the time, but you do need a very good setup designed for the least possible hardware lag, and you probably need to resynch them up every now and then even if it's working really well.
