Refer-a-friend issue

[align=center]I know that this isn't the WoW forum, but i get little help from GMs or other multiboxers with this. I am running a set up of 2 frost mages, which i find awesome, and when i have a friend run me through say gnomer to do the quests there, ,my main doens't not get the 3x XP. My friend's 70 isn't linked to either on my accounts. We did also take his's wide's lock and his new twink hunter through for some xp. the links work like this...

I got refer xp for the first 1/3 of the instance, then it stopped. I continued to get it on knips the whole time and had to waste a free level to catch nads up and play with the xp from some quest. I opened a ticket and got a message in my email with a link to the refer-a-friend website. Did some googling and found nothing. Many sorries if i looked in the wrong spots and it's just a snake waiting to bite me. If you can tose some light on the subject i'd be very greatful.

The hunter and lock were probably still getting the 3x exp. If you read the FAQ on RAF it states you need to be within 3 levels of other raf'd toons to get the bonus. Don't bring linked toons that aren't within 3 levels of each other and it'll probably work fine.
