Edit: Shouldn't try to work and forum post.... Ok, I'm confused why a normal focus macro and /assist focus won't work for you? Maybe I'm missing something since I don't have any ranged CC'd or something that could use it. I'm not sure if you could use [nodead] with assist or not. I just hit another key and my focus switches down a list to my next favorite toon while I grab control of them.
The idea is to use focus for your dps targets, and use your actual target to mislead enemy healers in their anticipation of who is next in line for the nuke.
