This is when I happily announce I'm a hardware multiboxer.

    "Where do I get that?"

Oh, my multiplexer runs in the $500 range.

    They shut RIGHT up.

This is where I mention that I can do the same thing as a multiplexer with wireless keyboards for about $50.
When asked how I set things up I simply tell them that it's a test, if they can't get the basics working without help they'll never be able to actually multibox successfully. Money seems to be the biggest roadblock for the most inquisitive... most of the kiddies are like zomg you must be rich... to which I simply reply that I have a decent job but I'm far from retired.

I get the "lol" often. I've never really took it as an insult. I mean when I first saw Xzin fire 4 Pyroblasts at a hunter at once I couldn't help but LOL. In my mind a single boxer is grinding away at quests and boring stuff just like us when out of blue they see the most random thing ever. 5 toons exactly the same busting out with 5 chains at once. You can't help but laugh .

The followers however get really annoying. I avoid going in to town when I can, because if I take the whole team I have a few behind me. What's great is this time around I have a pally so I can out run them all quickly leaving them in the dust.

One of the best responses to my shamans last night, walked up to the zepp outside Org going to UC.

Some random pally runs up, stops, turns around. looks at my cows, turns around, stops, turns around again, looks again and says
"Sweet merciful christ, now thats a herd of cows"

Lately I am beginning to find I have a shorter temper when dealing with the box haters. I think everyone can pretty much tell right off the bat where a conversation is heading. Just yesterday I had some player say "You're cool". I said "I know" X 5. And then the 'You have no life" comment was next. I kind of knew that was coming. I would rather ignore those people but it is hard for me to do. Here I am playing World of Warcraft and another person who is playing World of Warcraft says I have no life. It is funny when you really think of it. It is like being single and going to a singles bar and calling all the other singles losers because they are single. Hilarious, actually.

I can see the guy now telling one of his friends. ZOMG I WAS PLAYING WORLD OF WARCRAFT YESTERDAY AND I SAW THIS DOOD WITH NO LIFE...WTF!!!!

    /facepalm

So, maybe I have 'no life' or maybe I don't have 'no life'...or is it maybe I don't have a life. There is a difference I think. I believe that there is no definition that can apply to everyone that describes what 'a life' is supposed to be. I believe it is all relative. I need constant stimulation and this game gives just that. It is the same to me as reading a book except you get to control where the story goes to a point.

Sitting outside UC last night I spent about 30 minutes fixing up my chain heal macro, so that it would target my mains target with no modifier, or target the next in line (one targets two, two targets three, etc) if I held alt. If one was dead when alt was held it would self cast.
Had about 10 people run up and just say "lol" or "wtf" then run off, bloody hell thats so annoying.

Then there was one who kept demanding I drop totems, or use chain heal and lightning shield. Hellooo .. I'm not here for your amusement.
And there was the usual "wow another no life multiboxer" who ran up and just had to let me know that he doesn't approve of the game I play ... oh wait.

I had my first entertainment request just yesterday. I was at the Org zeplin (I really need to change my hearth to UC so I can go straight to SM) and this guy asked me to "Just run around a bit". I'm there waiting for a zeplin. Who wants to get an alt stuck on the zeplin tower somewhere when it's time to embark?

    The Poor Child

You know, $75 a month for five accounts is really not a lot of money. I think a lot of people probably spend more on their cell phone. However, there are these poor children in World of Warcraft who are on an allowance and think you are some spoiled rich kid who gets everything in the world, including five WoW accounts. No thank you, I have a full-time job and $75 is next to nothing for me to afford. Ask your mommy to raise your allowance.
As for THE ACCOUNTANT (or poor child) type of griefer: I had one major griefer at my 30 ding party who kept insisting that I spent too much money on my accounts. I said that half of them were still on free months from referrals or new accounts. He said it was still too much to pay. I asked him how much it cost for dinner and a movie out once per month or how much he spent at the vending machine at work every month. He stuck to his argument and stated I wasted too much money. So I finally asked "What if money isn't an issue?" to which he responded "You could have just said that to begin with". I think he assumed that I was rich and dropped the darn argument. In actuality, money isn't an issue because I don't spend that much on boxing, compared to what other expenses are (like dinner out or vending machines or whatever). Anyhow, next time I get an ACCOUNTANT, I'll just explain it to them using their precious budget math: no morgage + no kids + no dog = $ for multi-boxing

    POP QUIZ

Why do all ACCOUNTANTS quote you the month-to-month subscription price during their arguments?

    A) Because they are all 12 yr olds on an allowance that only gives them enough to subcribe on a month-by-month basis.
    B) Because if they use the month-by-month rate, the math is more outrageous and their logic will surely cure you of your multi-boxing bad spending habits.
    C) both 'A' and 'B'

    Answer: C
    Hunter/D. Priest 60.........70.........80
    ProtPally + Holy 60.........70.........80
    Boomkin + Shamen 60.........70.........80
