4 Shamans 1 Paladin - Which to control?

Hey all,

I've decided to run 4shaman 1paladin team, i've seen a few movies of this setup, but it seems some people have the Paladin as their main, and some have one of the shamans.

The thing i'm wondering is which is best considering that i'd be using the 5 man team for some PvE content, and using the x4 shamans for PvP, any help/tips for this setup?

I use my pally as a tank so I run them as main. The shamans are healing and spamming lightning bolts most of the time not much to that, but the tank will need to keep aggro, taunt, engage adds.. etc.

i just got 4 shamans 1 paladin to 70, and honestly i regret my paladin. i wish i had just made a 5 shaman team >_>. the paladin is great for "Some" instances. but it would just be far more faster and less confusing to deal with multiple classes. i use my paladin as my main for instances and one of my shamans for my main for pvp ( my paladin just auto follows and does nothing in pvp ). after leveling them up by questing and instancing, i grew far less fond of my paladin and love playing the shamans as my main. but thats just my opinion :]. i tank kara and other raids with him though. but w/e ~_~ this didn't help i know.

Ah thanks for the advice, luckily I will be leveling the Paladin on my main account and leveling 4 shamans on invited as i'm using the RAF feature, so I will be giving a 5th shaman levels to 60 and be leveling that solo to add to the 4shaman PvP team.

But how do you mean it's only good for "some" instances, cant 4 shamans and 1 prot paladin handle any current 5-man?
