Ok, So I'm trying to figure out if this will work well...(So far it has....but I'm only at level 13)

Boomkin.
Fire mage(frost at 40)
And ele/resto shammy.

What are your opinions?

I think it will work fine. Spam button would just be Fireball, Starfire, and chain / LB macro. Maybe ele as main so you can run a mod like healbot for easy heals. Maybe spec the druid dream state / boomkin / resto instead of the shammy as a healer jsut for HoTs. Then again, shammy has chain heal. Butt his would be a nice little burn team. Maybe be able to 3-man some instances once the mobs in there are green to you.
