Help setting up dual boxing for a newb :)

I wanted to start dual boxing on a single mac powerbook. Im having a hard time understanding Syngery and other programs like it. All I really want is a set up were I can have a /follow main and /assist main for my primary char sent to the window of my secondary char. This way I dont have to switch screens back and forth. Anyone know how I can set this up? A retard proof step-by-step would be awsome. Thanks in advance. Onïon.
