Default Wierd issue with right mouse button

I am new to multibox. Right now I am try it out with 2 instance of wow. Key broadcast is working fine, but I am not able to get the mouse clinks to work correctly. I am running with 2 warlock right now, I have a few marcos on it. I am using a marco to summon all my pets and my mounts.
    /cast [btn:2,mod:shift] Eye of Kilrogg
    /cast [btn:2,mod:ctrl] Swift Purple Gryphon
    /cast [btn:2] Summon Dreadsteed
    /cast [mod:shift] Summon Succubus
    /cast [mod:ctrl] Summon Felhunter
    /cast [mod:alt] Summon Imp
    /cast Summon Voidwalker

I am running 2 instance (main and two)
The left mouse button work fine, I can summon any of the pet on both warlock.
The right mouse button will not broadcast from "main" to "two".
I use the "del" key to pip between the 2 instance.
Once I switch to "two" to become my active screen, I am able to broadcast the right mouse button to the other screen and summon my mount on both warlock, but not the other way around.

I have try to toggle "receives broadcast cursor" on the profiles screen between the two instance but it seems I can only broadcast right mouse button from "two" to "main" but no the other way around

I am trying to get all the config work out before going to a 3 or 5 multibox. I am taking the first week of October off from work, and planing to play wow all day during my time off.

    Thks for any help/suggestions.

Look at your main status screen on your Octopus window and make sure both say something like "[k][c ] World of Warcraft." The [c ] indicates mouseclicks are set to broadcast to that window.

Ok, I was able to fix 1 problem and 2 more crept up :cursing: . The 2 instance was not running at the same resolution. "Main" was at 1028x768 and "Two" was running at 800x600. I am now running both instance at 800x600. But I run into another problem. ?(
I am using the default actionbar from the game. Only the buttons closest to the middle is working, any button toward the edge of the screen do not work. ;(
My setting in Octopus for the Maximize is
    Main(0,0,1200x1050)
    Two(1200,0,480x525)
    Three(1200,526,480x525)

    2nd problem
I use a one button grind macro for both toon
    /cast [btn:2] Siphon Life
    /cast [mod:shift] Curse of Agony
    /cast [mod:ctrl] Seed of Corruption
    /cast [mod:alt] Drain Soul(Rank 1)
    /castsequence reset=target Curse of the Elements,Siphon Life,Corruption,Life Tap,Drain Life,Shoot

When I hold down the alt, ctrl or shift button, the correct icon for the spell will showup on both instance but only the toon in the "main" will cast the spell. For Ex. I hold down the "Alt" key and the spell icon for "Drain Soul" will show on both instance but only the toon in "main" instance will cast the spell

if this helps at all, it's not resolution or aspect ratio sensitive even it will just map x and y to 0-1 then project it onto the target window if you like...

I don't use the click stuff but im' not convinced it's a problem with my app yet 8)

it seems to work correctly to me

maybe, your second instance has a binding to alt+whatever key somewhere. even some mods can steal the binding even if they aren't loaded in my experience.

Check your UI Scale setting. Has to be exact on both or the clicks are off. :P Also, Skarlot is right about the resolution not mattering, EXCEPT that the resolution aspect ratio must be the same. If you use one box on 1024x768(1.33~ aspect ratio) and one at 1920x1200(1.6 aspect ratio), the clicks will be off. So, for a quick reference, here's the list of common resolutions and their aspect ratios.

I am still getting problems with the mouse click, only the buttons close to the middle is usable.

I have change my setting to in Maximize to
    Main (400,0,1280x960)
    Two (0,0,800x600)

I have Wow on 2 different directory right now, I have set the 1st one to 1280x960 and the second to 800x600
I have turn all the setting to low in wow. UI scaling is turn off

I launch the Instance from Octopus
    Main on my left monitor(1)
    Two on my right monitor(2)

As I get further from the middle, the mouse clicks are more and more off from my main
for example. I have all the action bar turn on in wow
In my main screen and clink and open the backpack, but on two, it will open the first back from the right
I put cooking on the first space and first aid in the right action bar
If i click on cooking in the main, first aid will open on my second.

I have try to toggle the WoW mode under the Client/mouse tab, with it on, it is a little more presice but not by much.
I just do not understand what I am doing wrong. ?(

The action bar buttons works fine if I bind it to a key on the keyboard, but I like to use the mouse click if it is all possible.

thks for any help or suggestions.

i'll try to replicate this later on. bloody testing this thing, is like a 15 minute setup routine.

however, rather than in terms of bags, and wow buttons, if far left on one window is far left on the other, and same for far right.. etc.. I would garuntee anything imbetween is gonna be right.. and i mean like 1pixel off the border of the window.

I went through this before (At least in non wow mode clicks) and made it pixel accurate for windows of the same size

well i had a play around, made 2 toons, default UI, resolutions as you described... to me there is absolutely no error with my app, it's spot on, starting the click from either window, in wow mode or not. its still unclear to me because you use ingame references like bags and stuff, but I don't know where the bags are on your screen. if you say.. at the furthest right extend of one window it clicks 10 pixels in on the other.. id say.. ok somethings up.. but for now, im leaving it, If I ever come back to fix any bugs on this app, it'll be a month or so away.

    HI skarlot
    Thks for your quick response.

I try out a few stuff

I complete delete the WTF files from both my WOW directory and remove all the addon.

I set both instance (toon1 and toon2) to 1280x960, UI scale off, windows mode, turn all the action bar on, and toggle on "always show actionbars"

After I launch wow. I will have 2 action bar on the bottom left(running Hoz), 1 action bar on bottom right (running hoz). and 2 more action bar right (running up and down on the right).

    Octopus setting
    Set Zone Main(0,0,1280x960)
    Zone Two (0,0,1280x960)
Mouse setting - WOW mode on.

Launch both instance from Octopus. toon1 use Zone Main on display 1, toon2 use zone two on display 2.

If I setup like this all my mouse click will work fine. Each time I clink on the aciton bar in toon1, The same on will light up on toon2

This will work for a 2 box, but I am going to a 5 box, the setting will have to be change

I change Zone Two (0,0,800x600), relaunch both instance

This is when I run into trouble. ?(

When I look a the screen, I can see the action bar has move/scale ? differently on toon1 and toon2. 8|

ON toon1, it has the end cap (2 silver eagle?) on left and right bottom, toon2 do not have this. There is also an 1.5" gap from the bottom of the minimap to the top the of right action bar.

I am going to number the bottom left action bar from the middle of the screen out to the left side. 1 to 12. I am clicking in the middle of each button. 1-4 works. 5 nothing, button 6 will work button 5 on toon2, 7 will work 8 etc,

ON the right bar that runs up and down.
    1 do nothing
    2 works 3
3 works 4 etc until 9 it do nothing
10, 11, 12 works the same on both toon.

I am clinking the action bar on my toon1, clinking in the middle of each button.
I check the video setting on both instance, they are still set at 1280x960. The mouse clink is broadcast to the exact or very close position on both instance, but wow is scaleing the action bar differently on each toon . Even when the video setting is setup the same on both intance.

I am at my wits end. I will really like to use the mouse to clink and control my toons if possiple. Or, I will be spending a lot of time relearning, rewriting and rebind my keys.
