Default XP or VISTA? 32 or 64 bit? Dual Screen or Span?

I've been testing around a bit, but still not quite sure what I should go for.
At the moment - my specs:

    Q6600 oc'd to 3.4 ghz
    8800 GTX 512 mb ~10% oc'd
    4 gigs of OCZ Ram
    150 gig 10.000 raptor
    300 gig 7600 wd

    2x 24" LCD @ 1920x1200

I currently have vista x64 installed on the raptor drive, and XP 32 installed on the 7600 wd drive.

On vista I run dual view, But I often find my game 'locking' up for like 1 second, which is very annoying, and framerates aren't as good as using Span on windows XP 32
However span on XP is a tad bit annoying and it only recognises 3.25 gigs of my RAM (which is supposed to be 4, but limited due to 32 bit)

I'm planning on starting a 5-box again, if framerates are decent on 1 comp (main screen takes full 24", other 4 all a little part of the other 24")
Though I have 2 other comps of which 1 can run 2 wows and the other can run 1.

What would you do? XP, Vista, 32 bit, 64 bit? span or dual view?

isn't there rather poor driver support for XP 64 bit? And is the 64 bit only to have the 4gb of ram accessible or is there any other reasons?

Also, with XP, would you go SPAN or Dual View (with the fix I read in another thread, making dual view use full speed on both wows)

It takes 5 minutes to test it yourself ;-)

Most of the driver "issues" with 64 bit hardware/software has been resolved.
Your stuff is all new, so you wont have many issues at all.

I'm using Vista 64 bit with sp1 and it works great (2x30" monitors). The short freeze ups stopped when I started using 1 or 2 wow directories instead of 5. And I threw a 10K raptor in there and I totally forgot about freeze ups. The vista drivers in general are getting much better.

Also with a raptor 10K hd stuff loads so quick it's nuts. I'm almost always AV raid lead - not sure if that's because I'm the first to load or what.

keep xp if u want span
keep vista if u want new os
Horizontal and Vertical span modes are no longer available under Windows Vista.

Due to architectural changes in the new Windows Vista Window Display Driver Model (WDDM), span mode cannot be supported in NVIDIA graphics drivers. NVIDIA recommends using the built-in Windows Vista multi-display modes.
