I got a visit by 2 gms today. No biggie, they just wanted to say 'hi'. I asked how they found out about me and they said just from others... lol...It might have been because I had sent in 32 petitions today about something that I thought was an exploit and the GMs all saw me boxxing.

I'm pretty sure the guy that one-shotted Doom Lord Kazzak in the level 60 days won the world of warcraft. Granted it was a reckoning bomb exploit that was hot fixed within 24 hours but seriously one white damage swing proccing countless *extra* swings (not a technical one shot) downing a world boss in less than 10 seconds with ONE TOON.... thats winning in my book lol!

A lot of the movies made and posted on youtube are not done on live realms. Many of them are made on realms that are not sanctioned by Blizzard. A video showing a world boss killed with one shot would be one that would have been made on a non-Blizzard realm. All of the settings on non-Blizzard realms can be adjusted and any characters can be created to appear they were on Blizzard realms.

By the way, I'm level 23 on my alts now. The mages and priests are being worked up to level 31.9 and then will use the recruit-a-friend bonus levels to get them to 60.9 by Friday. Then it's back on the Shaman all the way to level 70! I'm glad the level requirements from 60 to 70 are being reduced. Does anyone know the official intended reduction? I heard some where that it was going to be 10% less per level but haven't see that from any Blizzard reps.

Raid bosses have been solo'd on live realms. For instance the warlock soloing Hydross and the pally killing Kazzak.

My understanding is that patch 3.0 reduces the XP requirement, per level, from 60-70 by around 30% (slightly less I think). You can log in to the PTR and see how much the XP needed moved down, someone did that recently and I saw it was around 30% per level.

You can already do 60-70 via quests and skip all the collection quests, although you will only have around 1.5k or so gold at the end (if you save all 65+ quests till 70 you can knock them out and end up with almost 5k). So hopefully it'll allow more gold questing at 70 with the XP curve changes.
