I have seen the new version of HotKeyNet has the ability to send mouse clicks to another window but I'm wondering if there is any way to send the mouse location without actually clicking. I haven't actually been able to try two WoW clients on the one PC yet so I'm not sure where the mouse location is (if its considered to be there at all) on the non focused client.
What I was hoping to be able to do was to have the main client (Paladin in this case) focused on screen but be able to hover the mouse over targets and send a keypress + mouse location to the non focused window (Priest) for use with mouseover macros.
For example the Paladin puts mouse over party member which requires a heal and presses F1. This then sends F1 keypress to Priests window + location of mouse which then fires off a target=mouseover macro on the person in need of healing.
This would make both being the tank and healing a party much more viable im my opinion.
The ability to to this over two PC's would be great also.
I am currently doing something very similar to this using multiplicity (like synergy, kvoom etc) and quickly moving mouse to the second screen for mouse overs but losing focus on the Paladin can be a pain.
If there is a way of doing it I have missed I'd love to know how to set it up. If not and if others may find it useful maybe it would be a possible future addition to HotKeyNet![]()
