Holy Trinity of Pally/4 Shaman - All Content?

I've seen it said many times on these forums that this combination can and has completed all 5 man content including heroics; however, unlike some of the 5 shaman teams on here, I have not seen anyone step forward and say they have personally done it, only that it has been done. I apologize if this has been covered, was just looking for some clarification. Additionally, I'm only referring to this makeup being controlled by one person (no offense to Fur and his brother :P).

I myself have quite a ways to go having basically quit doing instances once I hit 70 as I began working on mounts/professions, i.e. money. However, I have accumulated 3 Totem of the Voids and have downed 3 Heroic Bosses recently which has gotten me excited again (the daily grind is wearing on me) and wondering what my full potential is.

yes

pally and 4 shaman have done everything, several times. Some fights that require a bit of movement or positioning, can be tough, but every boss has been and can be downed by this group makeup.

5 shaman pure DPS teams probably have done the same as well.

I wouldn't say EVERY boss...

...for example, the eyeball in Crypts gave me trouble in NORMAL mode -- and the more gear I get, the harder Blackheart the Inciter gets.

I've been taking stabs at a couple instances, but I've generally been less than successful until I overlevel the run. I think the main thing is that I don't have a shammy specced resto. I keep thinking about doing this, but I'm afraid it will slow down my normal questing as I rarely even need to heal during quests. For those of you that did the Outland instances, did you have a shammy specced resto? Did you wait until 70 and then start instances with better gear and a dedicated healer? I know I'm kind of hijacking the thread some, but since we have established the Pally/Shammy synergy works, I'm curious how it worked for some others.

40-45 I did SM/RFD with the paladin and hand-leveled each shaman when I was bored for about 1 level. (Also ZF)
<--- 2.3 Patch. Long break happened here where I didn't play my shammies.
45+ Quests.
60-67 Quests. I do each instance only once or twice in order to complete the instance quests. I did all the quests in Hellfire, Zangarmarsh, Terokkar, Nagrand.
67-68? Kurenai Rep grind. Killed ogres in Nagrand. Fun stuff. :roll:
68-69 Caverns of Time: Durnholde
69-70 (almost there) Sethekk Halls

I also hit a few extra instances but didn't grind them for XP... Underbog, BF, Ramps mostly.

LoL Vyn, I know EXACTLY what you mean on Blackheart. 4x chain lightning with high crit and high +dmg just plain sucks...

Go ahead and go Resto Souca, the instances become MUCH easier (Earth Shield pwns) and you won't slow down your questing noticeably because even 2 shaman tear the crap out of normal mobs.

Im runnin the pally/4 shaman combo and have hit pretty much all the instances so far with the exception of anything after BRD up until the expansion and that simply because i was super undergeared. I did ramps and BF from 62-63 and once i hit 64 i tore apart Slave Pens. Its way easier than the two before it. Some of the bosses are difficult, but once you figure it out it becomes trivial again. Just give it a shot. Once I got some decent gear from the first outland areas it got easy enough.

To answer some questions and clarify what I'm asking:

I cleared the Draenei starting area and then started on Deadmines, clearing every instance as many times as it took to complete all the quests and/or get the appropriate level for the next instance all the way up to Outlands which put me at like 62 I believe. From there I ran every Outland instance until honored or I reached the appropriate level for the next instance; however, I didn't do the instance quest becuase I was saving the rep for post honored. I did this till I hit 70 at which point I started grinding money by going back and doing quests starting in Hellfire but I soon ditched that for dailies though I have done all the Hellfire and Zangramarsh quests. In short, I've cleared every non-70 instance. Only thing I've cleared at 70 is Mech (figured I'd try it since I was there for the totems).

As for the healer, I've had one speced resto from day one mainly becuase I just wanted a better feel for it but my healer does have a dps macro that I just move to an unbound button when I need a more continous healer. With that said, 3 full strength and one gimped lighting bolt have always done the trick for me on quest.

Anyhow, all I'm seeing is more people saying it's been done with no one saying "look at me" and if Vyndree isn't that person, who is? Guess I'll have to go through the PVE Progression thread and piece together what has been cleared since to my knowledge no one in that thread has cleared all of them either.

On a side note: can you run past Blackheart, reincarnate on the other side and go about your business?
