OK so i want to setup a mini TBC vs WOLK when it comes to totems for x5 shaman setup form a PVE point of view.
TBC
Air: Wrath of Air / x4 grounding
Water: Mana stream / x4 healing stream
Earth: Stoneskin / x4 SC (with rotati on delay if you want to get teh biggest use out of it)
Fire: x5 Totoem of Wrath
IN Wolk things have definitly changed is up with totems being purged and stacking almost fully removed there leaves a concern that 5 shamans not only overkill but redundent.
WOLK
Air: Wrath of air (10% spell haste) / x4 grounding (still not confirmed on stacking)
Water: Mana/heaing stream x5 (these are now merged into 1 totem with a "pulse", no confirmation anywhere i have seen if the 1) raid wide 2) stack
Earth: Stoneskin/windwall / x4 SC (stoneclaw still will able to chain drop providing good cc for those meele mobs)
Fire: totem of wrath / Flametonge / x3 searing ( you could also throw in x3 magma or fire nove for aoe)
So the questions are for WOLK and all you devoted shammys out there
1) Air - does 4 grounding totems still stack
2) Water - does the new mana/healing stream totem
a - raid wide?
b - Stack?
c - If no to b then what are we dropping for the other 4 totems?
3) Earth - buffed as SC will continue and you will get windowall bonus in stoneskin
4) Fire - nerfed (but not BY MUCH!!!). Yes we are going to lose 12% crit and 15% hit but look at what you get
- 6% dmg x5 shaman
- extra dmg from flametongue totem (though offset but change of Wrath of air)
- 3 free dps totems to drop (this is the biggie here if you can catch up on the crit and hit nerf with these 3 totems??????)
