60-69 MB PvP

So like many have suggested, i plan on farming badges/gold at 69 in order to avoid doing the other bg's at 70 as much as possible, and to get some quick upgrades once i do hit 70 to help the gear curve. Now the question that i have is whether or not the new bg rules apply to the 60-69 bracket. Group queuing with a group of 5 tends to net me a very lengthy queue time, that is borderline unbearable at level 70, and i wanted to know if the system will attempt to queue me against a premade in the 60-69 bracket or would it skip that component all together due to the lack of players in the bracket. Sometimes for AB and Eots group queueing doesn't queue me against a premade if my group doesn't exceed 5 but wsg it always seems to.

Just curious if anyone has run into any problems with this yet as i plan to begin my honor/marks grind within the next week or two.

it applies to all levels but only if your more then 5 players in the group/raid i belive.

I hit 69 tonight and started doing bg's. I've run 4 AB's so far and I have not run into any premade groups. I'm glad I actually read this thread because I have full rested at 69 and was planning on blasting through to 70. After running a few 60 to 69 bg's I'm so happy I haven't. I am actually contributing and I've won all 4 I've played. At first people were complaining but when I 4x healed a couple of defenders and helped them hold flags I suddenly had some people defending me against the nay sayers.

I'm having an absolute blast and its very nice to not be outgeared. I have no intention of hitting 70 until I have all the marks I need for gearing up at 70. :thumbsup:

just remember that you do lose 300-400 arena points each week due to this!

Cool tip:

When you decide to level get to 99% of your level and have some quests ready, queue and go deliver and ding 70! Go train your 70 talents and equip the pvp gear you bought.

Pretty fun to do a bg or two with some pvp gear and bloodlust or what ever 70 talent you get! =)

My second group got all my marks at 59 and 69. Best move I ever did for pvp. At 69 I won 34 eots games in a row and had 100 marks. Ab was just as good at 59 where I got all the marks. I did 50 wsg marks at 59 too. It took me 1 day to get all my eots marks at 69. In all I had enough honor to buy all my toons the S2 dagger. I had it enchanted and ready to go once I hit 70. The rest xp I had saved made going from 69-70 super fast. I ended up grinding lower city rep for the honor gear in seth halls until 70. All I have left to do now is run av until my ass hurts from sitting. My first team did the marks at 70 and it sucked bad for an undergeared multiboxer vs pvp geared 70's.

Bah AV weekend comming up and my shamans just dinged 61! 4k hp i dont think AV would be a great idea even thought i can kill 70s a awaken dps would tear me to bits in seconds.

Yeah, good idea. 60-69 honestly has the saddest, scrubbiest, most pathetic PvE folks who are bored. Seriously, I've seen level 69's with 3k HP... I steamroll them on my 62 lock... I'll definitely be farming tokens in the 60-69 bracket (cos my gear will suck ass, too XD).

After work i will get the feralfen trinket and try to equip all my shamans with the mace from BF (Only one in 7 tuns so far GG) then do some AV for fun!

My 4 Shammies just hit 69 a few days ago with the goal of stopping at 69 for token farming. I made an effort to try and get all the best quest gear i could without leveling. Once I did that I have been hitting the BGs daily, all 3. To sum it up, 60-69 battlgrounds are so EASY if your geared in quest blues with your multiboxing team. Some require more work then others (WSG) but all are 10x nicer then 70 BGs. The only thing I have reservations about is the Queue times on the reckoning battlegroup which shoot up to 30 minutes at times (these are standard for people it seems, nothing to do with my premade of 4 people)
