Aldor vs Scryer & MBing

So I'm just about at the point where I'll start accumulating rep items for Aldor vs Scryer so it makes sense to pick a side. Having a pally and 4 shamans on my team makes for an interesting choice though because pallies should go aldor and ele shaman should go scryer and I imagine its extraordinarily painful to manage two reps in your team, not to mention travel within Shat City. Any thoughts on this from the veterans?

I have 3 Aldors and 2 Scryers for my 5 team. I looked at the enchants and the available items and went with the best side for each.

I have a pally and 4 elemental shaman, and I went aldor on the pally and one shammy (the one I'll respec resto later), and scryer on the 3 elemental shaman that won't respec. If I have to go to the Aldor/Scryer tier, I just leave them in flight above the tier if they're not friendly with that faction. Some quests are harder to organize, like the Shadowmoon quests from the Aldor/Scryer camps.. but don't let that stop you from picking the best faction for your character. Look at the recipes you want and the professions you have.

At this late stage, I've started checking out WoTLK factions. No point spending all that time (and gold) to grind out factions if they become irrelevant at 80 anyway.

I know the expansion's not out tomorrow, but it is coming, and it will change everything. I'm happy to be a little gimped for 2 months to be able to have the money to become quickly overpowered for the content that will be current for the next 18 months.

yep, at this point i wouldn't care either.
One of my trio is a resto shaman and was aldor, so i chose Aldor for the other two as well, even though all 3 are now elemental.

I just can't be asked to have them at different spots when i hearth, or quest in SMV and i'll probably skip thoserep grinds anyway with Wotlk so close.
(plus, the rewards are not that different in the end)

yup, i was gonna say i make everyone scryer now because the elevator won't kill you. its really not worth it at this point to farm up the hundreds of signets/marks you would need to hit revered or exalted, unless you are in a raiding guild and want the illdari flasks. If you do, remember to turn in the lowbie marks first, then quest, then turn in the 70 marks and books to power to exalted.

Its a bummer there is no instance where you can grind aldor/scryer rep, its all off drops.

I wouldn't spend too much time grinding this rep as Wotlk is around the corner. For a 5 box team to go from honored to exalted it was something like 6000 marks or 500 tombs/arnaments.

Anyone know what will take the place of shoulder enchantments in wotlk then?
