Doomkin + Mage = ???

Hey there.

I'm really new to multi boxing, actually I'm so new to it I haven't even started it yet. I've played wow for a few years, and even tho I still love the game I have grown tired of raiding and pvp. I am kinda mostly looking for new challanges with the game, I've been reading allot about multi boxing the last few days and decided it might just be the challenge im looking for.

So, this means I'm a nab, so just be gentle with me i will probably ask some stupid things here ^^

first of all, my plan is to dualbox a mage and a druid leveling them more or less from scratch. If any one has some experience with this combo any help with some tips of how to set up skills and stuff would be great.
My plan is moonkin on the druid and cant really decide on the mage... have alot of experience from playing mage before, but i guess this will be alot different.. I like frost alot for leveling solo, but i guess this will be a burst combo so maby fire will be the best.

I figure setting up damage spells with similar cast time is quite nice, but the the only match i can think of is(except for instants) is wrath/scorch and i find a scorch spec kinda weak to fireball spamming for levling. allso never played moonkin (only did fearal and resto before) so dont really have any idea of what rotations are of any use.

Wich one should i choose to lead from? mage or drood?

If i can make it look good i rather play on one monitor than 2, (i just dont have the space for 2) and since im just about to buy a new monitor im gonna have dualboxing in mind when i decide for one. probbably getting a 20" but wide screen or not? anyone have any experience of 2 accounts split screen on wide screen? does it look good or is it just crap.

Just a few questions, any help or ideas would be gr8!

I lead with the mage, though logically you should lead with the druid since you can control heals better and (I believe) the mage has a longer cast range.

That being said, leading with the mage allows me to make better use of my aoe abilities and things like frost nova and click-to-target-ground aoe.

I would also suggest leading with the mage, for the Pet AOE if frost, , blink, & Iceblock timings.

I lead 4 shammies with a mage for BG & world PVP, & I think it rocks.

Then again , it could be just because I like mages.

Ive always had two accounts. Go ahead and get 3 more. Its way better. With 2 you are always limited on what you can do as far as instances and group quests. With 5 you can do whatever.

Also two accounts looks pretty good on a 22" widescreen.

What spec u go on the mage?
and do you use any castsequense macros you might wanna share?



Atm I'm just after the new challenge of dualboxing, thats also why im goin for 2 different classes, if i really like it i might go for 3 more accounts and go for some 5man groups. right now tho, ill just have some fun with trying new things.

Pretty sure the WotLK version of the Scorch debuff will include arcane damage as well. A scorch mage and moonkin will have some sweet sweet synergy if so.

I went with fire :)

Either way would work, really, but I don't find myself needing the control and escape mechanisms of frost.
