    Default Upgrading to vista 64

Hey Im going to be upgrading from vista 32 ultimate to 64 ultimate tomorrow and I was wondering a few things.

    1. Can I copy paste my WoW folder to a jump drive and then to 64? Will that work?

    2. If I can't do that can I at least save my macros for my characters?

    3. Any helpful hints that will ease my installation?

    4. Quick way to make sure my keyclone key gets revalidated when I install?

    Thanks in advance guys!

edit: I fail at posting this in the software section inch:

Yes, WoW never needs to actually be installed, just "move" the directory across

Your macros will "move" with the WTF directory

Note your Keyclone licence on your current system, click on About Keyclone, copy the system id key text, which will be in the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format.
Then, when you've got Vista64 running, install KeyClone and you'll have a new system id... just PM Mr Keyclone with the old and new IDs and he'll move your licence across.

I can verify all of the above. I just did this exact same process a week ago.

May i suggest formatting and installing 64 from scratch? I have always had better luck with starting over then i have with upgraded windows. Just a thought.

I would suggest that as well. IMO, anything but a fresh install for Windows is heresy. In fact, when going from 32 to 64, I'm not sure if upgrade is even an option.

When I went through the same process, including a full format, there was no waiting.

I just installed KC before I installed *anything* else at all, and PM'd Keyclone with my new system ID immediately.

By the time I'd got the entire system into a state that vaguely resembled a usable machine with the various apps I've come to depend upon (~2 hours - it's amazing how much crap I always forget about and have to re-download!), the licence had been transferred

Good luck with everything. So long as you have 64bit driver support for all of your devices, it'll be a breeze.
