There is always gonna be a lil lag between you cast and yer other chars no way around that.

One of the things yeh can is make targeting a separate key that way the pause between you hitting the yer targeting to actually spell casting yer other chars will have gotten there target.

What I also do is have the space bar to make em move some direction that breaks follow and stops casting.
