When you're telling us about bugs, the name of the program and text of the error is a good start. Next, you should tell us what OS you're running, what version of octopus, what you were doing when it failed, etc.

At a glance, side-by-side errors are usually indicative of not having the support DLL's in place for things to work properly. I would go start with the Octopus guides in the Wiki and make sure you're loading what it says to load in there FIRST.
