I really don't mind the banner as it is - it's totally unintrusive.

More moderators would be a good thing - perhaps moreso from European timezones. I'd really like to see a general toughening up on moderation around here. There are plenty of forums out there that allow people to be as abusive and out-spoken as they like. We don't need another.
