Noob Questions EP. 1 - Priest/Warrior? Shaman/Mage/Mage? Software to Hardware and Software Resolution experiences.

I am new to multi-boxing and had a few questions. I have read the forums for a couple days and these questions may already be answered if so I apologize.


I just setup my first quad-software last night. I'm probably not going to do 4 accounts right now. It was great shooting 4 fireballs but I don't have that many accounts. Maybe eventually.

Question 1
I have been trying to do a Warrior/Priest combo and damn it's hard. I can control 4 mages or shamans better than I seem to control a Priest/Warrior. Do you have any tips for this combo? I have also being thinking of a Shaman/Mage/Mage combo as I think this would be fun.

Question 2
I have an issue with my screens. I have 2 monitors and have to use horizontal span which really f's up my desktop and resolution. For this reason I am thinking of hardware boxing instead of software. Do any of you have similar experiences and is it difficult to get keyclone to work across multiple computers. I have been using Synergy for years so that's not a problem for me.

I didn't get a reply from anyone so I'll make my own in case anyone else has some of these questions. I am typing this in a hurry I could care less about grammer so you have been warned and may continue at your own risk.


Question #1
I went with shaman / mage / mage. It is going pretty good. This is my first time so I don't have anything to compare it too. I am basically just question however I would really like to run some instances but it just isn't possible with this combo. Maybe if I had 1 or 2 more mages.

Single mobs usually go like this.
Shaman - Lightning
Mage 1 - Frost Bolt
Mage 2 - Fire Bolt
.....followed up by.....
Shaman - Earth Shock
Mage 1 - Fire Blast
Mage 2 - Fire Blast
.....rinse and repeat.....

Group of Mobs (This is team specialty and really works well)
Mount and grab as many mobs as you can.
Shaman Fire Nova Totem
Mages Arcane Explosion
Shaman Healing and occasinal DPS

Just to let you know. I haven't had any experience with EITHER of these classes prior to this. We are level 43 now.






Question #2

I had to buy 2 keyclone licenses to use on 2 computers. I am using multiplicity so I canhave 1 mouse and 1 keyboard for 2 computers. Synergy is great but it doesn't work for WoW very well. You get spinning on your characters.
