When I first rolled on WoW, I played alliance on Alleria (PVE server). My friend and I decided to reroll on Mug'Thol Horde, which is PVP. I loved it.

Sure, when I was leveling, I probably wasted 8 hours doing corpse runs because of griefers... but the damage you can do, or the feeling of killing someone who is a couple levels higher than you when they try to gank you is great. There weren't many mass gankers except in STV (the ganking there SUCKED). I remember a level 40 something ganking my group of 5 when we were trying to run blackfathom deeps, and when we killed him ot was great.

Also, from a progression standpoint, I'd stay on a PVP server. While you might expect PVE servers to have... better PVE progression... that often is not the case. Having the option to do world PVP must appeal to high end raiders. If you ever plan on raiding (with one toon, many toons, doesn't matter) PVP is looking like its the way to go.

Make a second/ third multibox team.

If I get camped on my 5 taurenshammies, then i switch to the 5 dwarf huntards. If they get camped, then I switch back to the taurens, or login the 4 undead lox/ 1 mage.

Being able to go to 3 different servers (3 different time zones too) really helps out when the ganking is rampant.

Transfer over to Mag - we would NEVER let shit like this happen to one of our guildies. Anyone that tried would be stomped into the ground and camped until they spirit rez or log.

No matter how many they bring, we bring more...We roll deep baby! :P

I am so glad that my home server is actually considered the most well balanced horde/allaince server of all the pvp servers. According to the wowstats on prime time for Emerald Dream the count is around 12k horde 11k Alliance. When I am attacked and mass camped I just pull alliance together to stomp em back. Great fun Great fun. But if you can stick to instancing then it should alleviate alot of the problems. Ive been doing nothing but almost pure instancing since 55.
We had a lot of action in WPL's tonight. I got one quest finished in a 3 hour span... Though, I didn't let them do their quests either.

Hah, this is such an aggressive server.

I was on thaurissan, but a hordie (level 60 4sham/paly team) and on the pvp server I was getting way to much attention. I made it to 60, but have rerolled on Nagrand Oceanic PVE (hordie again) and now have a mage team at 46.

The problem with the pvp server is that people still find multiboxers interesting. Soon as you get spotted, you can almost guarantee there will be a drove of 70s otw to check you out. Ofcourse they have to see how good you are, so all the ganking starts. it was annoying the hell out of me. I will move my sham/pal team over when they are egilible for transfer again and continue on the pve server.

Now on nagrand I have joined a small dualboxing guild with about 4 active players 15-20 chars :P

I rolled Dragonmaw PVP from the beginning, and am sticking with it because of the gold boost my alts can give me, as well as the best ping times I'm able to find (300-400 average). I've been running my RAF mages (lvl 51 in 27 hours) with about 2 hours lost so far to corpse running in STV and Tanaris. What I am finding is that dual boxing makes you are target for every wanna-be arena team in the making, and most of the ganking has been a pair of allys (dps + healer) that have teamed up and are trekking around simply to make my life miserable. The only up-side to this is the sheer amount of aoe and burst dps I cn do as two fire mages, even straight out of rez when they are sitting around trying to heal and mana up.

The one thing I am noticing being hit by lvl 70s is they are coming by to see if I am dual-boxing, and then they are painstakinly taking out only ONE of my toons :cursing: . I don't know exactly why, but this is more annoying than them just nuking my whole team.

Man they need to put the oceanic servers in a datacenter actually located in Australia. I can't imagine multiboxing with that kind of latency

I skipped alot of the replies so this very well could have been suggested, but when you get to outland initially, id suggest focusing on the quests that immensly upgrade your gear then get out of outlands and back into the plaguelands, do all the quests humanly possible there until 60+ imo then begin running stratholme, you'll get some good money, especially if ur an enchanter/tailor decent experience also, the quests give a nice amount to.

After this you are gonna wanna hit ramparts anbd hit it hard, do your best to have most of your gear replaced already by the time you start with outlands gear, if possible. Ramparts, with some practice, is easy to farm, Also work on farming first boss of BF, or attempt entire thing if you are feeling adventurous at a lower level(it can be frustrating at 2nd boss) i get about 8% of a lvl each first boss run and am working on getting each toon the spelldmg mace from him have 3/5 right now, and almost gained a full lvl doing it, saving alot of quests.

The final boss of ramparts is a pain, the trick is to semi glitch it by pulling the 2 mobs that start the boss event back as far as humanly possible in order for the rider to not chase you as 5x shammies, set up groundings near the beginning of the bridge waste the 2, and the rider stays in the centre of the platform infront. Now you are going to want to slowly progress forward not getting out o range of grounding totems(nazan shoots fire balls every 3-4 seconds grounding absorbs these, they will put some serious hurt on u if u forget this). You can glitch it up in order to atually begin your assault on nazan in the air, he will land at approx. 20% health now u need to nuke him down then possibly get rdy to chain heal your ass off after hes dead as he may have hit you with his aoe which burns like a bitch(wiped me first time but ahnked and killed rider ftw). Rider is cake. GL, you can farm these for quite a bit with little trouble.

Sidenote: Stratholme pulls take a little getting used to, without a shield the hits hurt pretty good but once you are used to the pulls they become easy. Baron runs are fun and relatively easy. Scholomance can be fun but lots of spell dmg immune mobs at certain points. I had no weapon skill took me 20 minutes to kill 2 non elites but got my weapon skill up, windfury weapon helps. The basement sucks tons of spell immunes, but once your weapon skill is up its doable, just not worth the experience, but lets you finish the quest that gets you closer to summoning the gargoyle boss .

I never did DM but heard its really fun.
