    Default A new dual-boxer here! I have a few questions :)

Hey guys I just started to dual box today. I downloaded that Keyclone program... Im not sure how to use it but i opened two WoW windows, logged into my 2 accounts and made 2 shaman. I control one and the other one follows he doesnt follow extremely close tho, which is what i want. And when I attack something only one attacks, and when I cast a spell only one does it. How do I make it so everythin i do is mirrored by my other shaman?

    U are getting close.

#1 - The follow distance issue is simply server lag and will always be present. You will get used to it very quickly and it wont bother you. Just gotta take wide turns sometimes to avoid getting alts stuck on things.

    #2 Simultaneous spells.

1 - Pick a spell (lightning bolt for example)
2- put it on your spell bars (preferably in the same spot on both toons)
3- bind them both to the same key ( ie "2")
4 - Press "2" both toons should fire at the same time.
5 - Repeat as necessary for all desired spells and macros
    6 - Pwn mobs

    Hope that helps

I tend to try to set the keystrokes up the same, but use macros to make it easier. For instance, if "2" is lightning bolt on the main char, on the second it will be
    /assist <main>
    /cast Lightning Bolt

This lets you only have to target the mob with the main char, and when you hit "2", they both cast the same spell on the same mob. You'll keep finding handy ways to make your life easier as it necessitates it, be sure to read up on the macro guides and the suggestions!

When you multibox you will understand lag and know it like the back of your hand.

I seperate out the assist macro and the cast macro so that the main can switch targets if needed to pick up another mob without the second one losing target of the original mob.

It is slightly more work but once you start getting to more complicated macros and multiple targets you'll be prepared for anything.
