Don't forget an enchanter too, so you can disenchant all the useless bind-on-pickup items in instances.

I can imagine that the RAF bonus xp will actually make getting your mount gold worse, since you level faster but your gold income stays roughly the same.

just want to confirm that with RAF you do need a lot of extra gold to just train your spells. (basically because you get 3x xp you get 1/3rd the gold rate)

I didn't buy anything and looted and sold everything yet I needed a lot of gold infusion from my main just for training (not counting mounts etc...) so far I think I spent about 200g for 5x 1-43

Ain't this the truth... I hit level 8 and still couldn't train all my level 2 spells... I had looted everything, sold it all... All said and done, 1-60 with two trips to the AH for gear @ 100-150G per visit I spent just under 4K gold on skills (non selective, I trained everything) and mounts (Normal rider @ 30 & Epic rider @ 60.)

I would say one thing that will help is Auctioneer. Definitely pickup the gathering skills. I'd suggest putting Herbing on your main, mining and skinning on alts. Sell the lowbie mats for absurdly high prices, people will pay.

Tell your friend to buy your mounts for you.

If he's 70 and cant afford another 500g to give you, then GG

mining, skinning, herbalism, inscription and enchanting. don't pay to level any of it

inscription is a great way to use low level skills to make some decent gold. some of the low level minor glyphs can get you around 20g each and it is nothing to collect what you need. very low level herbs. just make sure to do the minor inscription research every single day when the cooldown has expired. seriously, you should be able to get enough gold to get your mounts in a day at that level. grind instances as well and sell the greens and cloth.

You should never run out of money unless you're blowing it.
Leveling while multiboxing = you are usually low on gold.
Leveling while multiboxing while under the influence of RAF = gold? what's gold?

Here's what I did when I started a horde team (I mainly play ally) on my PVE server.

I transferred 100g through the neutral AH, bought lots of cheap netherweave cloth, and found a tailor willing to craft bags for me (50g gone, approximately), try to make sure all your slaves have maximum bag space.

Loot all the stuff that drops, and if your bags are full, prioritize in this order: White stuff, Grey stuff:Weapons, Plate, Mail, Leather, Cloth, Rubbish. But try to maximize the amount of bag space you have at all times. (get bigger bags)

Vendor every single grey item that you don't need or can't use to replace an armor item. (I like to have every tiny bit of advantage I get)

Some people like to level an enchanter to DE stuff, I vendor soulbound items for the money instead, because I'm too lazy to level enchanting. :P If I did, and couldn't gain more skill from DE'ing, I would enchant all the items I can before putting them at the AH, looses you some copper/silver in enchanting mats, but makes it more likely you'll sell the item., and you skill up your enchanting.

Check all your white stuff towards professions before vendoring (Maybe check the going rate at the AH), and sell it at the AH if it's worth the effort. (I consider trying to sell the item 3 times as a guideline to if I'm putting it up for auction or not)

Put all your green BOE's on the AH (The addon Auctioneer or something similar is great, also for the white things)

At level 20, I'm still at only 50g, but I've got all the trained spells, plus all my guys now have full sets of NW bags..

    Team Infinite Reality - 5x Warlocks - Level 80
    Team Doomkin - 5x Druids - Level 80
    Team Thunder - 5x Squid Shammy - Level 75
(The squids used to be cows, but I went ally in the end)
