Depends. if you're trying to take out a ranged class/flag carrier/etc., Thunderstorm won't do you much good, IMO.

In both games you have the option to kill him sure its indeed hard when he comes in on a flying mount but in AoC you could kill the guy who did it. The guy in AoC who did it could might aswell just kill then with a singel blow.
