I'm at work anyone testing the boosting and level one alt functionality of RAF

I tried the level one alt thing this morning right after my server came back up and it appears to be fixed, anyone check boosting yet?

Not multiboxing related. Most likely a bug that was finally fixed.

People were running around with a level 1 linked trial account and getting 3x bonus XP till 60. Not going to say here how it was done but a lot of people were doing it. That's why we've been seeing a lot of level 1 ghosts running around in high level zones.

Sorry to have been unclear, I meant both the level one trick and the unintended ability to get 3x experience while boosting.

According to everyones testimony they did fix the level one ghost exploit but left boosting alone for now...

The boosting is way more important and I hope they turn a blind eye to it.

lol my co-worker keeps telling me to go alliance, i told him if he will power lvl me i would do it, wait till he hears that they didn't nerf it yet.

While there is no debate it was cheesy (and a pretty textbook exploit) if you had no 70 to boost you and didn't want to pony up for another account it made basic leveling three times as fast, as the new raf bonus is most pronounced when questing.

i think the ghost trick is too much of a pain. You cannot follow in ghost form so you would have to move the ghost if you got too far away.

Once again I'm not denying it was cheesy and/or an exploit, but it was useful in certain circumstances. For example if you has a main at 40-59 and wanted them to get three times the quest exp. Also it was not about the money as even if you paid for another account as it works now your main does not get three times exp you need two same level characters.

Also, I don't really think its any more cheesy than RAF boosting which is way faster than that ever was.

Actually, you can /follow in ghost form... unless I'm missing something, I do it all the time when my group wipes
