Sort of a PSA about RAF or Syro found a bug....

I'm thinking it was just a rare occurrence. I've gotten 5 linked characters to 41 questing and haven't seen this yet.

I have seen a bug in how XP is displayed in the chat window. On some quests the yellow text will report you received the normal XP for the turn in, but my XP bar shows the correct 3x amount. I made sure to watch it and compare before and after numbers carefully, and it just looks like a cosmetic issue with certain quests as it happens to all the characters on the affected quests.

Except for the shammys getting extra XP from totem quests, they have all been leveling in sync for me after I gifted the pally a couple levels to catch up.

I've never been able to not get triple for anything I did with toons at similar levels, even 1 level apart, unless I forgot to party or went out of range. I think it was definitely a bug. I assume that the triple exp is programmed like an aura somehow, so maybe lag can cause it not to register sometimes.

Yes i had this aswell..
Did a quest in Elf zone.
Turned them in one by one and one toon got 2k xp (veteran)
Slaves got the normal xp.
My guess is when the veteran dinged it made the quest green or even grey.
But then again this shouldn't happen when the quest is green right?

I've noticed this too, green or not the triple xp bonus is based off the difference between the highest lvl toon and the quests level. If a RAF toon is 5 or more levels above the quest then nobody gets the bonus.
Even with multiboxer assisting with quest turnins one toon gets the quest in a split second faster than the rest so I've had instances where one toon dings and the rest don't get the bonus and fall behind. Useful to have an addon that shows quest levels, I use Lightheaded.
