pro the mobs/quests in outland give about double the xp then old world. So you will be able to get to 60 really quick if you go to outland at 58.

con if you start doing quests at 58 you will have to do some grinding because you will run out of quests (or you can do the collect quests, which some of the drop rates suck).
Not to nitpick, but aren't those two statements contradictory under the triple xp rules?
