    Default Problem with leader-macroing!

Hey guys Been multiboxing some time now, and since the levels of mine becomes more serious, TBC time, i decided to code my macroes to "party1".

But unfortunantly, the char which actually IS leader, will assist party1 as in the highest on the party list, and then it all goes wrong :S how do i fix this? should be like some way that, if group leader, it wont use /assist - /follow -etc.

Also, if anyone who answers this thread got the macro to assign a non-dead character to new leader on the head, and can post it quick i wouldnt mind but if it causes trouble, np i'll find it on wiki x)

I use a variation of the the no-focus Manifesto macros, and can vouch for them as a way to have a "cascading failover" of part leaders based on who's left alive.

yeah i thought of using that, but i'd prefer that its all linked to the variable of a party leader

Oh, sorry, that was intended to be a response to the second part of your post - I completely skipped the first part I just use different macros on the normal leader compared to the followers (e.g. assist = assist on clones, stick a skull over the target's head on the main).

It's up to you of course - everyone boxes their own way - but I would bet good beer money on the fact that you'll eventually regret relying on party'n' assist, targetting, following, etc, especially if you want to do any battlegrounds.

I'll bug out of your thread now. Perhaps somebody who actually uses the partyn method will be able to offer more useful advice than I can.
