Well the topic says it :P
I joined a PvE guild after beeing headhunted.... I started out in SSC with them, just to try it and see how it was to multibox as a raider.
And it went ok... (got 2-5place in DMG done) And i had very few screw-ups.
However, the raid definately needs to be aware of me. In some fights its imperative that they stay out of my way at all cost.
After a short SSC run and some sunwell trash farming i got an offer to join the guild. After a little hesitation i decided to join, and put PvP on the shelf for a while.
This is a relatively new guild, and i joined on their 3rd SSC run. (I was in the raid the first time in MH)
Here are my experiences so far :
-You'll never get a boomkin, no matter how bad you want it. (We raid with one, but 5% crit on 4 other people means more than on me since im near cap)
-People will fight to be in your group.
-It's not as hard as i feared, although it takes a little practice, wich cant be done in raid.

Serpentshrine Cavern
The Lurker Below
This fight is easier for you as 4 shaman compared to beeing 1 single player.
I really feared this fight, because jumping up on the islands again can be hard as 1 player, and close to impossible as 4.
So.. The solution : stay in the water the entire fight, and just keep 3 healing stream down. I had a shaman healer watch my HP and if i got low i would recieve a chain heal or two.
I stayed in between two islands, effectively putting me in range for 6mobs. (of a total of 9)
Spout was no worry for me at all, and the only damage spikes i took was from water bolt.
Fathom-lord Karathress
This fight does not take anymore from you as a multiboxer, compared to beeing solo.
Although, the heals you produce will save the tank on the shaman. I'd start to heal when i saw the frost shock debuff on the tank.
Mount Hyjal
Rage Winterchill (Killed first try)
This fight is pretty easy, although you need a little more raid-awerenes than if you were a single player, and having a priest keep an extra eye out for you is good.
The only 2 things to be aware of is death and decay, (wich is bad for healers when it hits 4 players) and frost nova (this is where the priest mass dispells)
A combination of D&D and frost nova = 4 dead players in your case. I chose not to equip PvP trinkets for this fight, i kept an extra eye on my boys and just healed them once to keep them up whenever they got icbeolt.
Anatheron (Second try)
This guy puts alot of stress on you. I positioned myself between the Infernal tanking spot and Anatheron, and my main job was to kill the infernals.
The reason that this boss is so stressful is the Carrion Swarm, wich make you heal 75% less.
When alot of healers have this debuff(and I dont) i supported with keeping the Infernal tank alive.
Raid awareness is VERY important here, keep an eye on the infernal tank healers, if they both have the debuff or sleep, heal the tank like you have the Grim reaper on you heals
On the last bit of HP go all out on the boss, 4 extra DPS goes a long way.
Kaz'rogal (Fourth try)
Now Kaz is a real btich.. Ill tell you that right away.
Our guild has about 0 shadow resist atm, since we are one of the extreme few in MH on our server atm. This means that i will go OOM and i will die.
On our first try we got him to 26% and was a decent try, condidering we had 6 dead from the last mob-wave.
On our second try we got him to 4%, the last part tanked by Thrall himself. (I couldnt get into position so alot of DPS time wasted)
On our third try we had a close to flawless try, until we noticed at 45% that Thrall was not engaged in the fight.
Last try, the tank pulled Thrall and then posistioned him up by the tauren warriors. Raid wiped at around 6%, but with Thrall tanking and 1 raid member alive he went down with thrall on 4% hp (Thrall took around 3%hp loss pr swing from the boss) that last % was soooooo long. But he went down
In this fight positioning is the key to your success as a multiboxer, you need you own space with noone near you...
The tactics say that you should move out of the raid when you have less than 2500-3000 and the mark is coming.
That is kinda hard for a multiboxer, so i decided to stay in, and spread my boys 15yards from eachother.
On the second try, the raid was not aware of me and spread to evenly, and before i found a good spot at all, the first mark had hit.
On the third try, i explained to the rest of the raid what i was doing, and they gave me and my 5th party member a spot
I kept the spot for the fourth try, and stayed alive for a good long time(TY for the +10shadow resist racial)
Black temple
High Warlord Naj'entus (Third try)
This fight is rather straight forward, run to your given position, then spread out to avoid dmg on several characters.
Normal tank and spank fight, but before the shield chain heal yourself to full HP, also chain heal after to save the healers mana.
If one of you alts gets spined, loot it with your main. DO NOT face the boss with your camera, face the alts, so you easilly can loot spines of them.
Get a buddy to loot your main. (5th party member)
Always heroism after the shield, but watch aggro.
Supremus WTFBBQed me.. When an alt had aggro i'd always get a volcano on my main, making the alts take heavy damage.....
Will work on this fight... Will have to do some main change or something, i dont think volcanoes spawn on Supremus' target.. so that would help me keep my boys up.
CURRENTLY 3rd ON THE LIST FOR T6(and 4th 5th and 6th)
Will try to keep this updated as we progress further.![]()
