Default Going to just two session it at first with Shaman... have ?

First, the initial pass will be with just two accounts, I will go to 3 max.

    Race, Draenie
    Server Type, PvE
    Class, Shaman

I am looking at two Elemental Shaman or Elemental and Enhancement. If I go 3 I will probably do 2 Elemental and 1 Enhancement.

Basically the reasoning is that most every Shaman build gets into the Restoration tree anyway... I just won't be able to do instances solo with only 2 or 3 accounts but leveling should be fine.

Using Gatherer I should be able to make my main a double gathering character. One of the alts (when I finally run 3) can skin. That leaves a trade skill or two for the odd man out. (unless someone finds a way to mine on an alt). I figure I can put enchanting on the odd man for disenchanting... that would let me cover the 4 money making gathering trade skills.

So, would you do two Elementals Spec'd? The reason I lean that way is that is seems easier than trying to control a melee + ranged... let alone the fact that enhancement has no AE taunt. (unless you count chain lightning :P)

I am hoping that the 2.3 patch makes Shaman more viable long term... some of the changes do look nice.

I'm guess its because of the low level / lack of gear available. So I spec'd all three back to enhancement, and its great. Once you get the hang of multibox melee controls (takes awhile), you'll be trashing everything in no time.
First, can you post that spec? I haven't seen any spread out that much in points.

I guess the key is learning to control multiple melee characters. I haven't even thought of a good setup for that. With two Shaman it should not be too hard... its a long time to get stormstrike so its not like I need to worry about responding to proc's any time soon.

the advantage for multiple enhancement shaman would be to me...
    1. 1-key to drop non-duplicating totems... hell most of the time 1 totem drop would be all the need. Where you have an obvious field of targets you could setup life/mana as well in one drop.

    2. Since they are both melee a /follow should position them on the same target within melee right? Do you maintain separate movement keys for each character? In my current setups I used the letter keys for my main and arrows for my others. (but this is normally priest + back pocket hunter)

    3. one or the other can heal. give each a button to heal the other, or just have one on the alt that does nothing on the main... and mouseover heal the alt(s)
