Thread: Chat Macros..

    Default Chat Macros..

Hey guys, I'm wondering what other people do with how chat works when multi boxing.

So far I've tried leaving as is and just have all my chars say the same thing at the same time(Fun to mess with people btw)

And then I've tried unbinding my side chars and just having main be able to chat which then set off spells on my alts and what not which is no fun.

    What do you guys do?

Is there any good ways to be able to chat just on your main at the same time not sending other chars in a frenzy of spells and what not?

    Thanks guys

I use Keyclone's DNP feature as a whitelist, so I only pass a minimal set of keys. Then I have a hotkey for toggling on and off the whitelist, which sends everything, which I use for chatting, emoting, and spells im too lazy to make macros for (/use hearthstone, /equip item, etc etc)

I have the / and enter keys unbound on all the alts and just hit the "pause" button on Keyclone to type with my main so the alts dont go crazy. It seems to work most of the time unless i forget to hit pause which does happen on occasion.

I have my non-mains chat set to /party and then have my mains set to whichever channel I want to talk in. It's still repeats what I say, but the people I'm talking to only see one character saying it.
