I've been looking for a software package that would allow me to put buttons on the screen of my pocketpc that make keypresses. It's been a major struggle to find something, to the extent that I was on the verge of writing my own, when I found PPC Tablet.
PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite
Now I'll be testing this fully over the next few days but basically it's a server app on the windows box, a designer app and client app on the pocket pc. You create buttons in a visual interface, assign keystrokes to those buttons, change the graphic or text label and run. It even allows multiple forms so you can shift through a menu system or change the mode of your hot buttons. I've tested briefly with Octopus, which can see the keystrokes perfectly.
Best of all, it's cheap at $16 if you buy directly from the publishers website. I'm sure someone else can download the 15 day trial and test it with keyclone but I'll hazard a guess that if it works with one...
I'll keep everyone posted once I've done some proper "in game" testing to see how stable the thing is. If you test it, please be careful, like much of this kind of software it does allow multiple keypress macros and as such would represent automation and risk a ban under the "one keypress, one action" rule, but used properly this package has massive potential.
