Is there a program out there that works descent with everquest? Have asked and the normal response is to buy a 2nd computer. Thanks for the replies!

I dont see why keyclone etc wouldnt work with EQ? Back when I played EQ I tripple boxed 'manually'

Keyclone works great with EQ, and is recommended.

If you want to multibox EQ2, you'll need Keyclone AND InnerSpace. There's a few threads on how to properly set this up... I'm currently quad-boxing EQ2 using those two apps. At times, it's soo easy, it's boring!

You dont need innerspace anymore, keyclone now has the option focus background thing you need for it to work.

True... However, InnerSpace has a built in FPS Limiter... It allows you to force all background windows to a max FPS of say 15, while keeping your 'main' window maxed at 40 FPS. This helps keep things moving lag free on my setup.

Keyclone does this too

In WoW all my windows run at 5fps when they are in the background and 50 fps forground.
im pretty sure force FPS is in command Editor part of Keyclone.

I mainly dual box with one pc and 2 monitors. I use wineq 2.0 and hotkeynet.

It works great. I haev also 3 boxed using 2 pc and 3 monitors using the saem software and it works wonderfully if you arent downloadign anythign on your home network.



wineq 2.0 does an excellant job of keepin both instances full screen. i haev had problems keeping both eq's full screen but with wnieq 2.0 i jsut haev to make sure i use the setfocus functions in hotkeynet. I have a a hotkey that wil invite all 3 toons to a group then accept the invite on each nistance and then autofollow the main toon. I t works out very well.

EQ works with key clone?

The way you say it makes it sound like it has always worked...

hmm. 4 months ago I couldn't get key clone to work with EQ (well, with background instances).

Now i'm wondering if i'm just an idiot. LOL.

Lurking has worked really well for me for the last year or so playing wow and multiboxing, but now Im forced to stop lurking to ask about this as well. Ive been playing around with eq1 for awhile and I cant seem to find the focus background option anywhere on keyclone. Would anyone be kind enough to give me a little step by step on getting this to work?

Ive activated the 6 accounts to make a 5 mage 1 bard group and formed the guild "death by pets" on the test server, I just need to get keyclone to work and its all gravy.
