    Default Dual shaman spec

Taking advantage of triple exp I rolled 2 shamans who are both level 20 now. The 2nd sham is only a vessel for my main sham who I will solo box when hes 70.

I was going to run elemental figuring everything would die before it reached my shamans but so far thats not the case. Maybe I just need the +6 range from talents, but does anyone else have experience with running this?

Would you suggest enhancement instead? My only gripe with enhancement is keeping the 2nd sham in melee range/positioning. Nuking is so much more relaxing. The itemization for ele pre-TBC is crap, though...

Yeah, I could test it on my own but I am at work and bored..

Go with one enhancement, keep your threat high, spam frostshock, ect, and the other resto with threat reduction. Two enhancement would be ok, but you'll be having gearing issues unless you instance with them a lot, which I wouldn't do myself unless I boosted them with my own 70.

So, if you have a 70 that can run them through instances for loot (ala corpsemaker runs ect) go double enhancement till outlands. If you're just questing them at full speed, go enhancement/resto and you'll blaze through everything and probably never die.

I think that the magic number to kill everything in shot is 5 sham. Currently lvling 4 sham and i find that with 4 bolts i can 1 shot 1/10 mobs. If i don't 1 shot them then they have almost no health left, so most of the time it is 2 shots. With only 2 shams you would need to do a couple more bolts, the sad thing is that you don't get good talents until a little later and mana is a huge problem before BC gear and no water shield. before i got water shield at 62 i had to rest almost every other fight or at most every third fight. After shield it wasn't as much, now at 65.5 i almost never rest, the most that my mana has gone down to is 2/3 and that is like killing 10 mobs back to back.

Well, I could run 1 of them through instances with my 70 mage. The 1st shaman is on the same account as the mage, though. That could be my enchance -- with tons of blue armor/weap to back it up. But you suggest restro for the other shammy -- is the extra healing really needed?

Well, you need to start thinking in terms of pulls twice as many mobs now. Also, with resto you never have to stop. Just a mean green big pain train running through everything. People won't gank you if they're within 5 levels of you, and if they do they should be taking a dirt nap.
