Wow. You really are quite unfamiliar with Alliance.

Fear Ward might last 10 minutes (soon to be 3), but it is consumed by one application of Fear. PERIOD. So in the old 40-mans it was great because you had a boatload of priests, but in 10-mans when you might have two, it's situational at best. The worst part is that the ward is consumed even when the target is immune to fear, and it cannot be used as a safety net if the MT screws up the stance dance.

How do Horde currently do this encounter? Do they require an undead tank?

Everyone does it the same way. The Warrior switches to Berserker Stance and uses Berserker Rage when Nightbane is about to fear.

omg I only have said that for alliance it is much easier because of fear ward, nothing more

I am telling you that Fear Ward for all races will really not help that much for Nightbane. Alliance or Horde, if your MT gets feared, you lose.

I assume fear ward just lets non-warriors tank, which it won't anymore.
