Handy Hint 101

Happen to me last nite.

i have a cast sequence modify marco for my fire totems. alt-L is what i use for my magma totems....guess what happens when you press windows key + L (go on have look at the keyboard)

I found out that windows key + L locks your freaking computer (I am a mac user that moved to pc)..... hairy hairy moment...till it happened again 30 sec later....dam my fingers.... :whistling: the alliance must have been pissing them selfs while my boyz just stood there wondering if they would live or die

Your handy hint?

Ps. Anyone know how to disable shortcut keys in vista?

I have been thinking about the g15. I have been playing with a wolfking for the last 3 years so my musucle memory would need to be re-keyed...ok bad pun.

Personally I don't think I could live without my windows key...Win+E = Explorer Win+R = Run....I love it.

lol holy shit, thank you. you don't know how many times i've cursed that stupid key. Never did it occur to me to just pop it off. Tanking Prince and hitting phase2, go to renew shouts (ctrl R) and get smacked with the 15 second lag to the desktop. yeah, that's probably the worst time for it.

Can I mail you my windows key as a form of gratitude? has just a slight mark on the bottom edge from my screwdriver.

I own 10 of my favorite keyboards largely because of that damned windows key. My keyboard goes straight from CTRL to ALT with a nice space in between. Clicky too. Not quite the IBM model M, but still satisfying. SGI slate grey.

The brilliant designers of my keyboard included a sleep button and power off button on it, positioned conveniently next to F12 and above the print-screen button. After turning my computer off half a dozen times in Counter-Strike I pried them off. Talk about bad design.
