So first off this is another thread about x5 shaman (maybe druid, comment on them if you like, but mostly shaman) and/or a tank.

Next off i have used the search function and read several threads, i also looked through the wiki and looked through the instances section. I have found the threads still leave me wondering a few things and may not be alone. I wonder if this issue should actually be put in the wiki somewhere and then the traffic could just be directed there.

Next off is i am not asking anything about pvp whatsoever. For purposes of this thread my interest has nothing to do with pvp. I also don't care which is "better" between x5 shaman or x4 shaman and x1 pally.

I like the idea and feel of an odd/off way to tackle instances and i like the mode of uber dps to do it, mixed in with the shaman's many utility buffs and abilities. I added druids as a possibility cause they are the only other class that seems like it would fit the same "style" as shaman.

So my question is if the heroic instances are doable with x5 shaman, and if so which ones specifically, and if not which ones specifically. I know some heroic instances are fine with x5 shaman. I have read and heard that some will not be doable with x5 shaman. I am not sure exactly which ones these are. I am not even asking so much if it is hard or not, or takes a ton of skill/learning/patience. Wow has some basic formulas built in, so in some cases some things are just not doable. I am wondering if some of the heroic instances are just impossible with x5 shaman and if so which ones. I am fine with hard/learning/and patience... if you think that x5 shaman can do all the heroic instances but it is "hellish" on some then i would like to know that too. It is possible that this community (or any community for that matter) may not have definitive answers to some of this. Maybe some of it is still being experimented with or worked out... then that is great to know as well.

Like i said (this may be a comprehension factor on my part) i haven't been sure when people where speaking with direct authority about what is possible and what is not and when it was more a matter of opinion. In order to try to get a bit more specific information i am curious to know if you run x5 shaman which heroic instances you have been able to complete and which you have not been able to complete. If you are knowledgeable about the heroics and the shaman mechanics then i am interested in which heroics you think x5 shaman could handle and which ones you think they could not handle.

I know from some of the other posts gear is a huge factor... so lets assume you have great gear. Getting the gear is part of the whole puzzle i know.

As i am still learning about heroic instances i have been to wowwiki and these are all the heroics i could find from that site with the rating for how difficult the site said it was. I don't know if this is a five star system or if it is open ended. These difficulty ratings are not shaman specific as i got them from wowwiki, so for shaman some instances may have different ratings. I believe i saw a youtube video of a troll 5 box shaman team doing heroic Magister's Terrace though... and if you can do that then can you do them all?
