Tripple XP is a joke

Actually, it's not quite true, you keep any rest XP you gain but you won't have full rest by 60 unless you level pretty slowly. I only have around half a level accrued on the toons I boosted to L55... simply because the rest XP I accrued was back in the 20's or 40's, even a max 1.5 levels rest XP at 20 will be very little at 60 for example. Thats fine though - they can rest at 60th while I boost the next group up, then I'll alternate groups through Outlands to stay in rest XP always.

No kidding. I've been hitting SM cath, because it's something my 3 shaman can handle, little better xp than just questing, but damn boring. 1-2 more levels though and I'll try my hand at ulda or ZF, or might just go questing again. did 3 clears last night, then just switched to my main and pvp'd because I was bored. I need to either get focused on leveling or just give it a long break.

Not a joke to most of us. When grouped you should be killing nearly twice as fast. People are complaining enough about 300% XP, can you imagine if it did stack with Rest at 500%?

Honestly it is just right if you ask me. Same as having 1.5x rest XP even if you level none stop. Then to top it off by the time you get to 60 you will have most likely 1 1/2 bars of rested XP from the get go

Im just saying it seems as if your not really getting tripple xp since you get the same amount as if u were not grouped. Id like to know how much xp your getting when group with someone not on a recruit a friend account. From my math 2 lvl 21 characters grouped without tripple xp should only be getting 50 XP per kill then and that doesnt seem right.

I gave you the formulas already...
two L21 characters in a group, killing a L21 mob:

(21 * 5 + 45) / 2 = 75 XP each. Rested would be 150, and recruit-a-friend 225 XP each.

I am with ya'. I logged on Monday morning and I was level 19. I saw that a dual boxer I met the night before was 21. Five hours later I am logging off at level 21 and he is level 30.

got to love the questx3 xp. done ungoro yesterday, got 48->52 just killing doing the kill quests and discovering the pylons. 22.5k xp a pop is godly

Even elite quests are much quicker.

Also, for some reason, the triple XP bonus is awarding full-xp for the quests, even if they're much lower-level than you. The other night, I completed a [url='https://proust.washout.net/download/files/q9528.html']level 10 quest[/url] at level 15. Thott reports that quest as being worth 85 - 850xp. Even though it was green for me, I got the full 850, tripled to 2550.

The main thing about triple XP is simply the quest XP rewards. Killing monsters has always been trival for multiboxers. I believe i got 17 thousand experience for handing in the Scarlet Monastery final quest?

But I haven't had to do more than 4-6 quests per level for the most part.

Five groupled L22's killing an even con mob: (22*5+45) * 1.4 / 5 = 43.4 XP base, 86.8 rested, 130.2 recruit-a-friend.

Does this formula include the group bonus too? - I'm at work so can't check but I'm sure with my 5 boxing RAF accounts I was getting a group bonus too (thanks for the formula tho).

Either way RAF rocks 5x 59 (pally, 3x mages, druid) at the moment, I ain't complaining ... planning my second group already...(priests and locks ~ purple power shadow team!)
