How many can I run, and at what res?

AMD Athlon x2 6000
2gb RAM
nVidia 8800 GT gfx card

Running a 20" LCD, and run 2 just fine, at full res, and so I was wondering, how many boxes do you think I could run? Drop the res, and get up to 4? Could I push 5?

I've seen some setups where the res is something along the lines of 400x300, and I feel as if I could run 15 boxes if the windows were really that small.

Lets just say that I can run 5 boxes at my pc which is far more shittyer then yours. I however use no details at all and lowest resolution.

Best to setup some trails and try it. Run in to Orgrimmar or Ironforge to see how it runs at what details and resolution. Ohh sounds like a lot of work :thumbdown:

I figure thats what I'll do. Just drop the res, and see how many I can load up.

get 2 more gigs of ram and you can run 5 with no lag, well maybe a little in big cities.

Using WinXP so with 2 more gigs, most I'd get out of it is 3-3.5gb, but thats still an upgrade.

Thanks for the information, I figured I was pretty close, but not quite there yet. Good thing RAM is cheap.
