    Default New dual-boxer : Looking for general help (Doing double pallies)

    Hello!

    I'm just starting dual boxing (one computer) and I'm planning on doing a holy pally and prot pally.

    I've read through the wiki and a lot of the guides and have a GENERAL understanding of dual boxing but I'm not sure exactly which software / macros I should be using (etc.)
    I just made them so they're at a very low level currently so I obviously don't need the most in-depth macros yet but I'm looking for some basic ones.

    Currently the macros I have are:

    My accepting macro -
    /script AcceptGroup();
    /script AcceptQuest();
    /script AcceptTrade();
    /script RetrieveCorpse();

    My big button -
    /target focus
    /follow
    /assist
    /stopcasting
    /stopattacking

    My autoattack -
    /assist [target=focus]
    /startattack [nodead, harm]

    My focus -
    /focus (name)

    My invite -
    /invite (name)

    Alright so the help I'm looking for (keeping in mind what I already know, which is little) -

    First off I would like to know more macros that could be useful in my "duel-boxing adventure"
    Also, I would like to know if there's anything I should change with my current macros
    In the future I will need to know a good macro that will have my holy pally heal the prot pally
    And I was looking for a good bar setup and possibly some addons that could help me in this particular situation
    and... software that will help me. Currently since I'm on 1 computer I'm only using keyclone (with w,a,s,d and return being ignored)
    Finally, if there's a possible way so that I don't have my paladin "following" the other paladin. I would like it so they walk on top of each other since at the low levels I have to autoattack for kills. But when I am on follow it is very tough to have the non-main paladin attack the target because he's always slightly behind the main paladin (or any other way to fix this problem).

    Thanks a bunch! Any help is greatly appreciated!

    As you don't pass movenent keys, just aggro the mob with your main and start walking backwards towards your follower, when in range hit the auto attack macro

    Fair enough, was just seeing if there was anything more "convenient".

    Default Go through mob

    You could try going through the mob you want to attack and turn around to face it. The mob should then be sandwiched between your main char and your follower char.

    Yah, if you're looking for macro help and tips then try the macro forum. We have one of those.

    Sweet, try the Macro and Addon forum.
