I've been playing around with multiboxing for a few months now. I say playing around as it has been pretty limited to boosting a couple of my other toons in instances. It's been nice to be able to do it, but I just couldn't face the grind to 70.
Well with the advent of RAF I took the opportunity to level 3 more shamans and gift the extra levels to a pally so that I would have a 4 shaman 1 pally team.
So after a session in Scarlet monastery last night my shaman hit 40, which for some reason is a landmark figure in my brain for any toon. (I think it is just the fact you have most of your abilities).
I figured that that would be as good a time as any to go back and complete the call of air, fire and water quest chains for my totems.
This of course started me tweaking with my macros and set up and as I was only running the lowbie shammys it got me to start seeing them not as a chore (I figured all the fun would be at outland levels) but as something that may actually be fun to level too.
I figure I'm actually going to do a lot of questing. I'll hit instances when I have a fair few quests to complete (boosted with a 70), but I'm going to try and quest a fair bit too, to make sure I've got a proper feel for the shaman.
I'm also going to see about 5 manning a few of the instances at the right level too.
The fun has begun - and I am officially hooked.
