If this is not nerfed, mage dps will be through the roof in pve. Your only problem would be mobs that dispel.

yeah yeah, same as PoM mages back in the day. doesn't impress me. he can kill people for like 30 seconds every 3 mins, then what? thatas not a pve spec, its a lame mage spec tbh.

Maybe you've never played a mage, or have no clue about Presence of Mind and what it does, but PoM doesn't go away after 30 seconds. In fact, it's permanent until you cast a spell. It's not removed on instant casts, just casting time spells. The mage arcane tree is also getting a neat little instant spell called Arcane Barrage that does more damage than fireball rank16 lol. When PoM is up, arcane mages can cast instants at a crit rate over 60% easily. Oh yah, Arcane barrage is even more mana efficient than fireball and arcane barrage will generally come with 60% threat reduction.

Lame spec? The guy who made the video is among some of the top pvp mages in the game, and he obviously thinks it's a decent spec. I'm guessing that his opinion is a bit more valid since he's playing it right now.
