Synergy Broadcast Question

Hello all,

I have a question regarding Synergy broadcasting and after looking at other threads I can't seem to find the answer, so here goes.

What I would like to do is, instead of hitting a key to toggle broadcasting on/off and then hitting the keys to send, is there any way I could set up a sequence of events so that, say if I hit Numpad1 it turns on broadcasting, sends the key and then turns off broadcasting?

I've played around a bit with the hotkeys but I can't seem to get it to work. If anyone has any ideas please let me know!

If I'm understanding your question correctly, Synergy doesn't have macro functionality. By what you've described, that is what your looking for.

The only thing I can think of is something that has macro capability associated with hardware, such as a G15 keyboard. You could write a macro that would do just that, but it would be in the G15 software, not Synergy.

I don't have experience with other hardware besides G15, but I hope this answers your question.
