Funny how all the hypocrits that you heard with the Zolo boosting arent saying anything at the moment, even though it was clear that it is the same in essence.

Still works *for now* and is not an exploit *for now* but is going to be changed as soon as Blizz can do so.
Ok, better skip the Shaman totem quests for now then, and just boost until they fix it :P
    Started August 10, 2008 , 60 on August 20 2008, 70 on September 11 2008!

    Hmmmmmmmm
If you can still boost with a 70 and other 4 toons can get 3x exp, is this a good way to set it up

    Vet account a refers n1
    Vet account a refers n2
    vet account a refers n3

upgrade3 accunts lvl to 90 day ones

    lvl all toons 4 mans to 60 , 4 druids , 4 shammys , 4 locks, 4 mages, 4 hunters, 4 priests, etc

at end of 90 days turn off accounts and transfer chars back to one of standard 5 box acounts

or just leave all 8 accounts active

While it is still active, I think since Blizzard is on record that this is not the intended use, you should RAF boost at your own discretion.

On an off topic, I hit 30 yesterday on my RAF questing toons with just about 1 day of play time.

Nobody had a problem with Zolo boosting when it was confirmed by a blue to be ok.
Nobody had a problem with RAF boosting when it was confirmed by a blue to be ok.

SOME had a problem with Zolo boosting (or similar) after it was hotfixed.
SOME believed that finding a Zolo-similar encounter after the Zolo hotfix was OK.

SOME had a problem with RAF boosting when the FAQ was edited to say that it was a bug.
NOBODY had a problem with RAF boosting post-FAQ edit, after a blue confirmed that it was still ok to do so until it was hotfixed.

There's the difference. If blue confirms it's ok, it's ok. If blue does not, you will get people on both sides of the fence.

Hai, you were refering to me I assume?

My point was, doing something similar is going to be risky.

It is. Look at the blue post saying it's currenty not intended and will be hotfixed soon, and that people should not be doing it :P

    I.E. I told you so?
Like I said, not gonna probably get you banned, but it isn't really the BEST thing to be doing right now... eh?

So essentially we have until Tuesday? I assume Blizzard will hot fix it then.

I'd say don't count on it being around for long, but we really don't know how big of a bug this is to fix or how much testing will need to be done on it. I mean... other patches have messed with seemingly unrelated things like tauren weapon scaling. :P So it depends on the speed/accuracy of their dev and test team.

Post #61 Blue says it's not an exploit.

However the last post by another blue says "
Here's the real bottom line: You can still take advantage of every feature of the RAF. It still works properly. You just can't powerlevel your alts with a level 70 character and still benefit from the 300% experience bonus. "

I am confused is this still legal to do?

It is until they fix it. Then it will still be legal but no bonus.
